Guys and girls should i believe him when he said he's trying? Need your opinions please?

I think he's just trying to make you happy. You can't force yourself to like someone. If he wasn't feeling it after 5 hour chats every day then he won't feel it at all. I don't think he is trying to hurt you but he is. I think it's better for him to just turn you down and leave it at that than to do all of this.
