Why would he want me to think he's still thinking about his ex?

he put a status on his msn something like I wish my heart never loved you so now you couldn't take someone else's hand in front of me, when I asked what did you wrote that for, he said it's from a song, I said Ok, then he said want to listen to it, I said no, and he was like why what's happened you suddenly seem so upset, I was like (WTF) lol no I'm fine, so he was expecting me to ask if it's about his ex to cry and go crazy? what does he wants from me lol, I know I hurt his feelings before and he really loves me, so does it sounds like he's trying to make me hurt now? lol I rarely log on to MSN, he didn't change his status message for ages, and suddenly when I come- he puts this on, what do you think?
